Business Areas

Salwan Corporation Berhad focuses on four major business areas which include Manufacturing, Technology, Properties and International Marketing.

Manufacturing has been the Group's core business since 1995. The group consists of Ace Polymers (M) Sdn Bhd, Ace Polymers Industries Sdn Bhd and Ace Roto Moulding Sdn Bhd. The group started as a small manufacturer of medical disposable products and plastic injection moulding for the electrical, electronics and household sectors. The company then ventured into manufacturing parts and components for PROTON and PERODUA when the two national car makers provide the opportunity for local companies to take part in the local automotive industry. It added another customer in 2003 when it secured a contract to produce components for Naza Automotive Manufacturing Sdn Bhd’s (NAM) national multipurpose vehicle, the Naza Ria.

The Technology Group consists of R.a.T Design Sdn. Bhd. R.a.T Design Sdn.Bhd was established in October 1996 and is involved in Project Management, Product Design and Development, Prototyping, Testing and Reverse Engineering. Its principal activities are providing design and engineering services to small and medium scale companies.

Salwan Corporation Berhad is also venturing the Properties Sector through its subsidiary company, Salwan Properties Sdn. Bhd. The Group is going to focus on the development of prime residential and commercial areas.

In view of the globalisation, the Group is also venturing into the overseas market. The Group is planning to develop and supply its products to overseas customers which include the major automakers such as General Motors, Daimler Chrysler and Toyota.
