Profitability

Reported earnings have improved in 2003 in concordance with increased revenue. Revenue increase stemmed from new contracts received from NAM for the manufacture of components for the “Naza Ria” as well as improved demand for bumpers and skirtings from PROTON and PERODUA. Operating profit margin also grew reflecting Ace’s lower cost of production arising from economies of scale.
